Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has released a statement on the club’s website after walking onto the pitch following Sunday’s 2-2 Premier League draw with Leicester City.

Forest have been fighting hard for a place in the UEFA Champions League but have been in poor form lately, leading to a drop in the rankings. The latest encounter with the “Foxes” who have been relegate could only draw 2-2 at their home ground, City Ground.
After the final whistle, Marinakis was เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา seen walking onto the pitch in frustration at Nuno Espirito Santo, sparking criticism, particularly from Gary Neville, who call the move a disgrace.
Marinakis said in a statement on the club’s website: “Today is a day of celebration because after 30 years Nottingham Forest have guaranteed their return to European football, fulfilling the promise I made to our fans when we won promotion.
“With two games left in the Premier League, we have to keep believing and dreaming until the last game. We are very proud and close to Nuno and the team and we all have to celebrate what we have achieved this season.”
“Everyone – the staff, the players, the fans and myself – are frustrate by Taiwo’s injury and the medical team making the wrong decision about Taiwo’s ability to stay on the pitch. This is normal.”
“This is a testament to the passion we have for our club. Let’s keep on having fun, keep on being passionate and keep on dreaming.”
